* I thought Amy Poehler did a fantastic job, but I forever believe that putting her there was a mistake. As much as I love Amy Poehler as a Weekend Update host, I think the show would have benefited more with Amy Poehler showing up on Update to do characters like the rest of the cast. Update is where you put the actors who aren’t as good at character work like that (Fey, Meyers, Macdonald) and Poehler is just not one of those people.
