You Don't Even Know, Dude

I started watching United States of Tara and I’ve decided I dig it.
Toni Collette’s a really good actress. I was always really on the fence about her before (I found her underwhelming in About a Boy and Little Miss Sunshine) but this has sold me on her. The show basically functions as a showcase for her various character work, and she’s quite good at transforming herself from persona to persona solely with voice and body work. It’s really cool to watch. The supporting cast is also really good (and I recognize most of them from other TV stuff, so every episode I get to play “Who Were They In What Other Thing” -  a fair amount of Mad Men people, interestingly.)
It’s on Netflix. I finished the first season (there are only three) and recommend it.
