I agree with the sentiment, but comparing Firefly and Jersey Shore is like comparing apples and traffic cones. They serve two completely different ends. Firefly was a high-concept scripted sci-fi drama with a considerable budget, whereas Jersey Shore costs a fraction to produce, and requires no staff besides the stars and the technical crew.
A more apt comparison would be Two and a Half Men (nine seasons and counting). Or Glee (it’s in its third now, I think).
Mainly, I’m posting this because Jubal Early is dope.
